The structure of a limerick
As any fan of prose probably knows, there are several styles of poetry out there. If you’re a fan of poetry books of simply like to write yourself, you’ve probably at least heard of the term limerick.
So here’s the lesson of the day if you will.
A limerick is a poem that follows this simple pattern:
1. They contain five lines.
2. Lines 1,2 and 5 rhyme.
3. Lines 3, 4 rhyme.
