Halloween is right around the corner

It has become the second biggest commercial holiday in America and can be a blast for both adults and children alike. Considering my own personal affinity for this holiday, I figured this might be a good time to run another quickie Creative Dreamers contest.

HOW TO ENTER

Submit you photos (each person can submit up to five different ones) to me at tcrapromo@gmail.com.

All images should be Halloween themed and your own original work.

You will retain all rights to the images you submit.

Deadline for entries is October 28.

All photos will be displayed on our blog and the winner will be chosen based on reader votes.

Featured post about you and/or your website on this blog along with free promotion of your work via Twitter, Tumblr, Stumbleupon, Google+, Facebook, Pinterest, Vi.sualize.us, and Weheartit.

Week four abstract shots photo contest winner

The fourth and final week of the Creative Dreamers Photography Contest encouraged photographic artists to think outside the box and venture into the truly artistic.

This last week, the theme of “Abstract shots” resulted in one particular image that stood above the rest.

Without further ado, I give you the winning entry for the week of July 1-7:

Let’s try this – one more time

So, the first week of our photography contest here at Creative Dreamers was a bust, the second week, we received a lot of entries by some very talented photographers. But this past week made the trend something like that of a heart monitor with spikes of ups and downs. Yes, we had a dud of a week in terms of submissions for the “People and portraits” category.

With all that being said, there is only one week left, one week to show off your skills and win a prize and promotion for doing so. Starting tomorrow (July1) through July 7, the theme will be “Abstract shots.”

Once again, you can send submissions to my e-mail (as indicted in several prior posts) and will retain full rights and intellectual property of your images.

Good luck and we hope to see some great images coming in for our final contest week.

Results (or more accurately non-results) of the first week of our photo contest

Much to my surprise…

and a little to my dismay as well, there where no entries into the first week of the Creative Dreamers Photo Contest. This being the case, there is obviously no winner to announce.

I’m hoping things will chance this week with the theme of the contest being “Nature and Wildlife.”

If you’re so inclined, please enter for your chance to win the Deluxe version of my E-Book “Making Beautiful Photography: A Guide for the Novice and the Enthusiast” which even comes with several awesome video tutorials.

Photo Contest

Are you a photography enthusiast, aspiring shutterbug or even working professional photographer?  Starting next week (June 10), this blog will be holding a weekly photography contest for aprox. one month.

Each week, there will be a different theme (see below) and one lucky entry will be featured on our blog and promoted across the web via sources like Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Stunbleupon, Tumblr, Google+ and Vi.sualize.us. What great publicity for your work and your website or blog.

In addition, each weekly winner will get a free copy of the Deluxe Edition of my E-Book “Making Beautiful Photography: A Guide for the Novice and the Enthusiast” which also includes a series of video tutorials and info on DIY projects.

How to enter:

All submissions and any questions can be sent to trcapromo@gmail.com .

Rules:

All entries must be 1 MB or less in file size and in .jpg format. Photos can only be submitted by the original owner. Photographers can enter up to one photo per day. You retain all copyright of your photos so don’t worry.

June 10 – 16 (Photo theme – beautiful skies)

June 17 – 23 (Photo theme – Nature and wildlife)

June 24 – 30 (Photo theme – People and portraits)

July 1 – 7 (Photo theme – Abstract shots)
