When disappointment grasps at the soul

And fear and worry take their toll

Look up in awe toward the stars of night

For healing in the purest light

For to be human is pain

In the heart and the brain

But in faith our suffering shall disburse

To cast out this long ruling curse

Ah, the distress seems to last so long

More somber than the saddest song

Even this cannot take away

The chance at a bright new day
