What’s your musical guilty pleasure?

From bands, to solo act to songs…

I’m willing to bet that each and every one of us has a bit of a guilty pleasure. For example, maybe it’s the boy band that a 4o year old guy who likes to rock out to One Direction behind the comfort of his headphones while working out at the gym. Or, maybe it’s the teenage girl who wasn’t even a thought in her parent’s yet when the song came out belting out the lyrics of the 1971 hit “Brand New Key” in the shower.

I’m doing to dare to share a few of mine with the Creative Dreamers readers. If you’re so inclined, I’d love to hear a few of yours.

A few of my favorite local artists

As a Pittsburgh photographer, I can also really appreciate the amazing local artists that reside in our community. Some are rather notable while others may be a bit obscure but many are very talented. Here are a few of my own personal favorites. All images come from each artists respective website or Facebook Page.

Subculture Story (A poem)

If you have a “freak flag”

Let it Fly

What good is denying

Who you are inside

If you look different

From all the rest

Celebrate your image

And revel in your uniqueness

Whether your skin be alabaster

Or your hair neon green

Let your true colors

Always be seen

Bigfoot, literature and humor – the perfect combination

If you are anything like me, you appreciate good literature. However, you also enjoy a good laugh once in a while. The book “In Me Own Words” The Autobiography of Bigfoot,” readers get a little bit of the best from both worlds.

While the book is anything but grammatically correct, the errors are intentional and designed for the purpose of comedy and entertainment. Check it out today.
