Camera on my new phone
It has been way too long since my last post. But at least I have something new now. In early December, I got a new cell phone and part of the reason I got this particular model (other than the fact that is was very, very affordable) was that the camera is said to be 48 MP. First, you have to realize that is kind of deceiving because while megapixels are important, they are by no means the be all and end all of what makes a quality camera. Second, when factoring in the tiny size of a cell phone camera sensor, it really diminishes the value of that megapixels are in the first place. That being said. I did find a few cool features not available on my previous phone and possibly not available on other models.
Phone Model: Moto G Power (2021)
Marco Mode
When shooting something small closeup, the camera automatically asks you if you want to switch to macro mode. It is a nice option for detailed photography.
Pro Mode
This is nice because it’s one of the closer options available for phones to actually using a real DSLR camera. Sure, it’s can’t match an actual DSRL but it allows you to play with white balance, shutter speed, ISO and auto focus.
If you are looking for a budget phone with some nice camera options, you may want to check it out.
I Weep (A Poem)
I weep for the children
Force-fed lies under the guise of education
Encouraged to hate and distrust
Their very flesh and blood
—–
They cast a net for the mind
Aiming to imprison the heart
Separating the innocent
From those that love them most
—–
This cannot stand
Our voices must be heard
To disburse all the madness
Like dust among the wind
